I was born and grew up in Yokohama, Japan and graduated from Toyo University in Tokyo. In 1988, I moved with my husband to his hometown of Ashland, Oregon and have lived in this beautiful Southern Oregon community ever since. After retiring from our business, J.Michaels Fine Jewelry in Medford, my strong ties to the community and love for people has led me to begin a new career in real estate. I assist my clients with competent and confident advice, well-connected communication and solid negotiation. In every transaction, my clients receive another specialty, Japanese "Omotenashi" Service (No detail is left uncovered and your best interest is always the priority).
I enjoy a healthy life style with good home cooking (having the advantage of my son being a professional chef), yoga and running. Skiing, hiking and traveling are my other love/passion. Between those physical activities, I fill my free time with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Rogue Symphony. (What a great place we live in!) I volunteer at North Mountain Nature Park in Ashland, where I plant and maintain one of their butterfly gardens. I've been serving as the president of JA-SO (A non profit organization, Japanese Association of Southern Oregon) for last 6 years, organizing multiple cultural and fund raising events throughout the year with the help of my fellow board members.
My motto: "All's good, it's a beautiful life."
My core strengths combine exceptional efficiency, attention to detail and a friendly outgoing personality in order to provide an unforgettable experience for my clients.
